To ensure smooth operations, park regulations have been established. By visiting our park, you automatically accept these park rules. We wish you a pleasant day and hope that the following regulations contribute to this.
Art. 1 | Admission to the Amusement Park |
1. | With an online (day) ticket for the Waarbeek amusement park, you can enter the park once. |
2. | Copying and trading entrance tickets is prohibited. |
3. | Our guests are required to wear appropriate clothing for hygiene, safety, and out of respect for children and other guests. Wearing swimwear in attractions is prohibited. |
4. | It is strictly forbidden to be in the Amusement Park outside of opening hours. |
5. | In the event of park closure due to force majeure, caused by extreme circumstances (e.g., weather conditions) that we cannot influence, no refund will be given. |
6. | We reserve the right to change opening days and/or hours during the season. |
7. | We do not provide refunds on purchased products/services. |
8. | The expression of beliefs or the holding of demonstrations is not allowed. |
9. | Individuals aged 12 and over are not allowed to enter the park in costume/with face paint. |
10. | When our park rules refer to supervisors, this always means adult supervisors (18+ years). |
Art. 2 | Injury, Theft, and/or Damage |
1. | The Waarbeek amusement park is not liable for injury, theft, and/or damage to your property, even if it has been taken in by one of our employees. You enter the Waarbeek amusement park at your own risk. |
2. | Parents and supervisors (as well as a school, institution, etc.) are liable for damage caused by individuals entrusted to their care. |
3. | In the event of theft, the police will always be contacted. |
4. | If you have suffered any damage or injury, you must report this to the supervisor before leaving. Liability of the Waarbeek will lapse if reported afterwards. |
Art. 3 | Attractions/Play Equipment |
1. | All attractions have their own safety regulations regarding, among other things, minimum height and physical condition. These regulations and the instructions of the employees must be followed at all times. |
2. | It is possible that an attraction or play equipment is (temporarily) out of order due to repair or maintenance. In addition, attractions may be temporarily closed due to weather conditions such as heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and gusts of wind; this does not entitle you to a refund of the entrance fee, compensation, or other recompense. |
3. | On less busy days, it may occur that an employee operates multiple attractions; we ask for your understanding in this matter. |
4. | In most attractions, it is mandatory to wear footwear. For safety reasons, in some attractions this footwear must be securely fastened around the foot (so no slippers). |
Art. 4 | Food and Beverages |
1. | The food and drinks provided as part of our all-in formula may not be taken outside the park. Random bag checks will occur occasionally. |
2. | Please always dispose of your waste in the designated containers. |
Art. 5 | Pets |
1. | For hygiene and safety reasons, animals are not allowed in the Amusement Park, with the exception of guide dogs. |
2. | If pets are reported in a car in the parking lot, we will be obliged to contact an animal shelter. |
Art. 6 | Camera Surveillance / Photos and Video Recordings |
1. | For the protection of your and our safety and property, there is camera surveillance present in the park. |
2. | It is possible that photos and/or video recordings will be made during your visit for advertising purposes. We reserve the right to use this material for publication. If you do not wish to be filmed or photographed, please report to the photographer/film crew, who can be recognized by clothing with the logo of Attractiepark de Waarbeek. |
3. | In an attraction, a photo may be taken of you which you can purchase at the exit of the attraction. The photos taken will be displayed on a screen there. |
Art. 7 | Alcohol, Narcotics, Violence, and Nuisance |
1. | Excessive alcohol consumption, the use of narcotics, vandalism, the use of (physical or verbal) violence, and/or other undesirable behavior is prohibited. In the event of incidents, the police will be contacted. |
2. | The carrying of weapons or other dangerous objects is prohibited. We reserve the right to remove the owner from the premises, possibly in cooperation with the police. |
3. | It is not permitted to bring glassware into the park. |
4. | The use of sound systems that cause nuisance is not permitted. |
Art. 8 | Smoking Policy |
1. | Attractiepark de Waarbeek is smoke-free, with the exception of the designated smoking area at the rear of the park. |
2. | The smoking policy also applies to the use of e-cigarettes/vapes. |
Art. 9 | Parking |
1. | You are expected to comply with traffic regulations on our parking areas and follow the instructions of our parking attendants. If you violate these rules, we may have your car removed from the parking area at your expense. |
2. | Parking fees apply to our parking area, which is exclusively intended for guests of our park. |
3. | Parking is entirely at your own risk, and we accept no liability for any damage or theft incurred. |
4. | Parking is subject to availability. De Waarbeek cannot guarantee that there will always be sufficient parking space. |
Art. 10 | General |
1. | In order to offer you a hospitable visit to Attractiepark de Waarbeek, we require your personal data in some cases. In our privacy statement, which can be viewed on our website, we explain which data we process, for what purpose, and on what basis. |
2. | Making advertisements, holding collections, offering goods, etc., is not permitted unless permission has been granted by the management. |
3. | The use of drones is not permitted unless permission has been granted by the management. |
4. | Attractiepark de Waarbeek spends a lot of time and care on the maintenance of the park. Nevertheless, it is possible that you may encounter less pleasant things. If this is the case, we would greatly appreciate it if you would report this to one of our employees. |
5. | The employees of Attractiepark de Waarbeek are authorized to remove individuals from the park if these individuals do not comply with the park rules. In this case, the person(s) being removed are not entitled to compensation. |
In all cases not covered by these regulations, the management decides. The supervisor also decides on the correct interpretation and application of these regulations.
